Good luck Mac, hope you get it done
My home is a bit of a mess but gradually getting there every dayI had such a huge bout of illness that it is taking time to get back on track.
Had another blood test result today, severe deficient in Vitamin D so that explains my recent bouts of being ill/tired etc. Pick up my new prescription tomorrowThat should get my motivation/work rates back up!

Sounds like a good idea
Go you! Yesterday I did some jobs off my frog list (a list of more long term jobs I've been putting off), so that was something.

Oh my days! Katy I had vitamin D deficiency in 2012 -- it was pretty severe too. I was on Calcium + D 800 IU (maybe they gave you the same...?) for 8 months, and now I take 2,000 - 4,000 daily. I couldn't work or do anything during that time either.Since Jan 2014 -- Clixsense -- £300 (join us! ♥) | Valued opinions £120 | Nectar Fanatic (SavvyShoppers/Canvass)

Alundra do you recall what your blood results were? Mine were 8 I believe, should be 50-150 apparently...!
I pick up my prescription tomorrow, not sure what it is, my calcium levels were normal, but it could be that they were low and then my thyroid (which I've had big problems with) has caused that to raise, so my regular 6 month check-ups now become more frequent. I'm getting something called D3 apparently? Looking online it appears to be more fast acting, so hope it gets to work quickly. At least I have another explanation for feeling so ill!
Did you have a reason for your deficiency? Or just a deficiency? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
My results were I believe 23. At my last test (which was earlier this year) it was 104. Last year in about September/October it was 80. They said 104 was good. It took a long time to feel "normal" again -- maybe six months until I could work, but about a year where I started to walk fast and feel really well rested.
The reason mine was so low was most likely to do with my move from the US to the UK. There's just not enough sun for me here.Since Jan 2014 -- Clixsense -- £300 (join us! ♥) | Valued opinions £120 | Nectar Fanatic (SavvyShoppers/Canvass)

Eek, 8 must be very low then. I looked online and it said it is classed as severely deficient, which is what they said. Is it a tablet that you take or an injection?
Glad you feel good again, I hope I can get back to normal quicker than that but frankly anything that explains how bad I've been feeling and can be fixed is a good thing, even if it takes time
How has your move gone, are you settled back in the US now?
I'm working on getting back onto the leaderboard today if I can! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
