Soft brandy snaps - how to crisp up?

Options
Not sure if this counts as money saving, except that I bought 3 boxes at 50p each from B&M and don't want to throw them away! They're just not the same all soft, does anyone know if I can just put them in the oven to crisp them up again?

If you're going to throw them away otherwise, I don't see the harm in trying it with a few!

Wouldn't put them in for too long though as Brandy Snaps do come out of the oven soft to crispen up on the rack.

Crispen is a word. I just coined it. ;)

Id use as low a temp as possible, or maybe even warm the oven up and turn it off, just using the residual heat. I used my dehydrator to crisp up some ice cream waffle cones succesfully
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Oh, absolutely! I just hoped someone might say 'I always do such-and-such and it works like a charm!'

Will try the low heat/short time and see what happens. If it works I think they still have a few boxes left at B&M . . .

I have nothing to lose but my waistline :D

ETA - Just had another thought, I'll put one pack in the freezer - don't know why I didn't think of that before

As This Year said, when they come out of the oven, they'll be soft anyway. Every time I've made them, my recipe says to grease the handle of a wooden spoon and roll them round the handle as soon as they come out of the oven.
And I think freezing them will probably add a bit of moisture, so you'll need to defrost and then do the oven thing again. And as Raksha says - just enough to warm them through (they burn quite easily!)

Although I've always been fond of slightly chewy brandy snaps........:o

Think I would try microwaving , it works with stale biscuits.
