Organic veg box delivery in Essex

Options
l have decided to get a veg box delivery. There appears to be 3 companies that cover my area. They are:

Abel & Cole
River Nene
Sunrise Organics

I have looked at all 3 websites but just cannot decide which one to choose - I must be the world's most indecisive person!!! Can anyone help me decide please.

Basically I would like to know what the quality of veg is like for each company. Also what sort of quantities are in the boxes. I am thinking of having a medium box but they all only say what veg they contain and not what quantity. There are only 2 of us but we are vegetarian so obviously do eat an awful lot of veg! Do you think I would need weekly or fortnightly?

They all let you order other veg and fruit as well although Abel & Cole seem to be more expensive than the other two. Also Abel & Cole have a facility for you to tell them if you dislike any particular veg so they do not put it in your box. I don't think the other two companies do. This is not great problem as we do like most veg.

Lastly, both River Nene and Sunrise seem to always include potatoes in their box whereas Abel & Cole do not. We eat an awful lot of potatoes and the chances are the amount in the box would not be enough. That makes me wonder if I would be better to go for Abel & Cole and buy my potatoes separately?

Any help, suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.icon7.gif

I use abel and cole, I chose them mainly because of the facility for choosing the dislikes as theres only me and I dont like everything. It also means if you are swamped with something you can make a change to a dislike for one week and they will replace it. They also have a very convenient online system and clear ordering deadlines and delivery days (I get easily confused!)

I have a box every 2-3 weeks, generally a portion of peppers is 2, aubergines will be 2 small ones, courgettes normally 3 etc. They depend on the size as to how many you get. Mushrooms are always very generous! The box I choose is the small deluxe one so the mediu box will be much bigger portions.

I am impressed with the customer service they give, ive had a few hitches and they were very quick to sort things out and give me a free bottle of wine!
Generally the produce has been consistent and great quality and I can highly recmmend the san marzano tomatoes, tinned tomatoes and apple and sultana muesli yumyumyum
