Companies that buy houses quick

Does anyone know any companies that buy houses quickly, or is it all a con?

They offer a low percentage of the real value, and often drop the price again at the last minute.

You would be better off knocking 10% off the realistic value of your house and using a normal agent, that should get you a quick sale as long as you are realistic on the actual value.

    Hi jeanie49

As discussed in your previous thread, the best bet is to reduce the price until it sells. What's your estate agent's opinion?

If you are really desperate consider an Auction House. The Auctioneer will tell you what you are likely to achieve. It will be low, but not as low as a house buying companies will pay.

They just want to drop the price. It is realistically priced but over £600k so not as many buyers!

You only need one buyer, so a 'realistic' price is one that attracts that purchaser, well within a year.

Otherwise, whatever it is, it's not realistic.
