I would put in the letter as creditor:

new creditor name (assigned from old creditor name)

For example: scumbag debt collectors (assigned from robbing bank)

You don't have to send them a page show what creditors were on the petition, as all debts are automatically covered whether on there or not. However, if this debt is on there and you don't mind including it, then it is one less feeble excuse they might try to make.

Thank you your quick response and info it is greatly appreciated . I was 1 of the misguided that thought i couldn't do a thing about my credit file / apply for credit or anything else until the bankruptcy came off my file :( which was April last year . I now need to get just this 1 sorted out and then hopefully there might be a possibility of being able to apply for a mortgage hopefully 1 that needs less than 25% deposit so thank you again :)
