Br Forms Advice Please

in Bankruptcy & living with it
Hi.
I have been to the court today to pick up a insolvency pack so i can file for bankruptcy,it all looked ok in there(i have never been in a court in my life) but when i came out i felt really sick with worry.

Is it really as bad as i am thinking?
I have got a date for the 15th of august.
Also on the BR forms it asks for your solicitors details,do i need one.

    That's correct, you don't need a solicitor for the actual bankruptcy process.

    The only places on the forms where you are asked for your solicitor's details are if you have previously instructed one to deal with:

    1) Divorce proceedings etc. Q 1.12/1.13
    2) Ongoing legal proceedings. Q 1.16
    3) Business matters. Q 2.11
    4) Tranfer/sale of property. Q 9.1
