The Galaxy S4 comp is new today on 4 of the sites and runs to 13th March.
If you enter on all 4 sites, every day, that's 172 entries for 1 prize.
How many other comps, each for one prize, could you enter in the same time?
Discuss.
(I see Take a Break has 12 pages now and 3 of the others won't be much less)

Had been thinking much the same as you Thingamabob :(......but then I had my first win on them last week...the rug doctor one.

They are taking quite a while to enter so have decided to only enter a few and see how it goes :)

Yes, I won £50 Lidl vouchers in December- they had to be used by today, so I took a bus trip to go and spend them. :)

Congrats on your win :T, hope you had fun spending them.
..but how many entries did you make to get one win?
..and how many other click to win comp entries for other prizes did you make without getting a win?

During the time you were entering click to win comps, did you miss out on entering numerous other single entry comps that could each have produced a prize?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing, just wondering what peoples views are on entering over 100 times for one, fairly small, prize when, for the same time commitment they can enter 100 comps for 100 prizes.

Congrats on the rug doctor win ellemm. :j
I made a big effort to enter as many times as possible over the last few months and won 1 DVD. My other comping certainly suffered for lack of time. It was bad enough when there was 6/7 pages but 10 plus, it gets mind numbing and doesn't seem worth it.
I don't generally like multiple entries for one prize but, of course, make an exception for ITV. ;)

Just won GHD Gold straighteners from the Clickies, this is my second win on them. I do try to do them every day and get as many entries as possible.

Lovely prize. :j Well done. :T DD would have liked me to have won on that one. :(

Do you find you have plenty of comping time for entering these without affecting other comp entries?
With, say, average 8 pages per mag and you enter 4 comps on average from each page, that's 32 entries per day per mag and 128 entries per day over 4 mags. Throw in a few from the other 2 mags and you must be making around 4,000 entries a month. Just on click to win and for just 32 different prizes.

I have been entering them for a few months. Every day and probably about 3/4 of those available. The only ones I didn't bother with were those that I had no use for, such as the golf club. This used to take me about an hour. In that time, I have had one win of £25 Poundland vouchers. So not really a great return.

Now that there are so many more of them, I think I will cut down the number I enter, so that I still spend about an hour doing them.

They are so quick to do that I think I could enter about 5 or 10 of them in the time that it takes to enter 1 other competition.

    Hiya.

I'd like to say that they are worth entering too. I won £50 worth of doggy treats with them in November.:j
There's a piccy on the IWIWIW piccy thread.

I prefer doing them than the other mag dailies, they are a lot easier than those where you have to go through the yes/no answr ones IYSWIM. BTW, I don't do them all, some of them don't appeal, so it saves a little bit of time skipping certain ones.

I thought of just cutting down but I find that, once I start, there's so many that I don't want to miss out.
You're right, they are generally quick to enter...until they start using unreadable Captcha's or playing video. Several of them used to even stop using the Captcha if you entered shortly after midnight and it was really quick then but they've stopped that now. I wonder if they were reading the other thread on here that mentioned that.

    Yes

Even though I have not yet won from them I do enter all the ones I would like to win every day. I agree it's a lot of work but you have to be in it to win it.

If I did not have as much time as I do I would probably not enter them as often as I do now.

Because I have the time I don't miss any comps coming on to the board

I guess it's all down to how much time you have personally to spend every day & how you share that time.
