You are confusing me lol!!! I think maybe I will look for 'best value' then, and take a look in game. Thanks guys :-) x0

I just got a 360 with kinect for £119 and £29.99 for the square deal thing which covers the xbox for 2 years and brought minecraft for £13 from amazon (brand new from mircosoft).
If you want to go my route....find a seller nearest to you so you can see it functioning and buy a warranty from ebay.

Thanks guys I went to game in the end and got their second hand machine with a download card for minecraft, it's a reward for good behaviour so far he has not earned it ;-)0

I got the console (2nd hand), an extra wireless controller (new), 12 months xbox live and minecraft for just under £200. So I'm happy with that - just don't tell me I could have got it elsewhere for £100, ignorance is bliss!
Will take a look on ebay for 2nd hand games but I think minecraft will keep him going for a while - what on earth is the attraction??!! I have watched them playing it but I can't see what they are actually doing? Just building blocks?? I feel old .........................0 -
Don't worry I don't get the whole point in Minecraft either! Should be able to get second hand games relatively cheaply, if you don't mind some guns and shoot em ups there's probably a few cheap ones to be had in Game. (around £1-3 each for say Ghost Recon, Gears of War & Splinter Cell which may be a bit advanced) The key to cheap games are football, golf & wrestling - older versions of them will often be dirt cheap!
I'd recommend the lego games as well, always really well done but usually a tad more expensive, but well worth the money for them to be honest. You won't see him for a while now he's got minecraft though!Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -
Yes he is lego mad, that will be the next thing to look for :-)0
