Hi
I am wondering if anyone can help me I have purchased a dress from Australia for $1695.00!! yes I know it was a treat!
But I have received a letter from parcel force advising my dress cannot be delivered due to a customs bill owed of £346 I do not even know if the dress will fit me - so I do not want to pay £346.00 just to try it on
If I ask Parcel force to send it back will the customs bills still stand - I don't want the retailer to deduct it from my refund? then I have paid of £346 and will not have anything to show for it?
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks
Bridget

I am trying to work out why someone would spend that amount of money for something 12,000 miles away and not even know if the item will fit.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
How do you know you'll get a refund anyway? I'm only curious of the law that applies to changing your mind, as I haven't bought from abroad.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

They do give refunds as this is clearly stated on their website0

Covered at the 4th link down?
You'll need to pay the import duty / VAT / handling fee first - but will be able to reclaim all (but the handling fee) if you return it.
