Cats

Anyone else notice!

My cat only likes me when it wants something to eat and when it had something to eat it doesn't want to know me.

Its really annoying that, anyway I have to leave my cat outside all the time as no way I can't have it inside my flat as its infested with fleas and I can't afford treatment for it as I am only on Job Seekers so I leave it out all day and all night but I do let him in when It wants feeding and then when it had something to eat then I put it back out.

I just can't have it in my flat anymore, last year was a nightmare as I had fleas every day even on me, not having it again as I can't cope like last year.

  • Because you have no money to pay for flea treatment is not not a reason to allow a cat to suffer ...and they do suffer when they have fleas.

If you can't afford to look after your pets health then i then you really need to have a good think as to whether you are the best home for the animal.

I seriously hope you are a troll and are trying to get a reaction. If not well here's my opinion.....

If you can't afford to take full care of your cat why do you have it? You obviously don't like having fleas on you/in your house so think how the poor cat feels. Plus it's getting colder, would you really like to be outside when it's freezing cold and wet. You need to get some sense of priorities, job seekers or not.

One has to question if you cannot afford the £5 it costs for flea drops or the preventative 99p flea collar for the cat, how you can possibly afford to feed the poor cat.

You can get flea treatments from supermarkets such as spot on. You can also get low cost treatment from the PDSA if you are on certain benefits.

Ive been unemployed and Im still on a low income but no way would I leave a cat to be infested with fleas, it must be miserable

And no way would I rescue a cat and even consider getting rid of it again.

That won't tackle the problem though, he will still bring fleas back in.

To be honest, I don't really like cats and dogs, I just took it in because I felt sorry for him but if I knew last year with fleas then I wouldn't even thought about having him.

Cats and Dogs are known for fleas.
  • What part of the word preventative do you not understand ?

  • Take the cat to the local cat rescue, they will treat him and find a new home. Also if there is a chip they will find the original owner! someone may be looking for it

OP you are an attention seeking idiot. We had our last cat for 20 years and in that time the cat only ever needed flea treatment once. Take the cat somewhere where it will be re-homed with someone who cares about its health and wellbeing.
I can afford anything that I want.
