A very basic self assesment question

in Cutting tax
Hi all
Please help. I have a tax return due tomorrow. I did a small amount of self-employed work year 2012-2013 but also had four jobs and paid student loans. Unfortunately I only got to log in online a couple of weeks ago and find I had to declare employed as well as self-employed earnings.
The very simple question is: when listing my gross income in each job do I list the figure that says 'gross' or 'gross taxable'. This makes the difference between HMRC owing me and me owing them. The non-taxable bits would be petrol and pension I'm guessing but the figure doesn't say exactly what it was for.
Thanks hopefully

Gross taxable - what appears as the gross pay on the P60.There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who do not. :doh:0

Thanks very much. I have made life a lot more complicated by taking too long to register, meaning I had to do the return from final payslips, rather than p60s. I have marked them as estimates so hope this works. I am also apparently owed just under £200! I feel a detailed audit of my return coming on
