Business Loans

Not sure if this is the right area but I'm looking at getting a business loan to help forward my fairly new business.
I've been running since September 2012, Sales are slow making it a slow process to fill up the shop with stock.
I've seen a lot of companies offering grants and loans etc but not sure what is the best one to go for.
I don't want to lose part of the company so pay per month would be there better option or an even better way would be pay nothing for 5 years or something like that.
Also when you apply for one, What do they focus it on? Credit the same as a personal loan as my credit is poor.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Will you be putting up money or will you be expecting the lender to shoulder all the risk? If it's the latter then you've no chance.0

Unfortunately, the above statement shows that your business is dramatically under capitalised if you have to depend on sales to generate money for stock.
This will have a negative effect on trying to get a loan.
Do you have a current Business Plan?
Do you have any relative or friend who might be interesting in providing capital in return for either a share of profits or part of the business or interest free repayment, instead of looking for a loan?
What sort of business is it?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
If sales are slow, what is the point of building up stock?I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
