Farm Foods Meat - how nice is it?

Morning everyone. Having got more organised and reduced my grocery spend by quite a bit, I was just wondering about Farmfoods. Was looking at their website this morning and their 3 for £10 meat seems a real bargain. I was just wondering how you find it. If money was no object I would buy fresh from the butcher every time but I find lots of frozen stuff fine, however have never bought meat like this.
Thanks for any thoughts, it is 16 miles to my nearest one so won't bother if its not great.

I buy their frozen gammon joint that i then defrost and cook in the slow cooker. Its certainly better than the equivalent fresh one from Asda.
I also use their frozen diced chicken breast - good for currys and stir fries and means you can just use what you need and keep the rest frozen. I always have a bag of their chopped peppers, mushrooms and veg for similar reasons in my freezer. I often by fresh veg but these mean there is no wastage or need to worry about using leftovers up.
I go to FF for all my "essentials" now, and then go to another supermarket for stuff that they dont stock. I find it saves loads of money.GC Jan £431.490/£480.00  £48.51 under budget!0 -
yes i have no problem with farmfoods meat...like the lamb chops ..a little tougher than the food hall (salford Market) 4 chops from food hall cost me nearly 9 pound0

i too have been wondering this...the meat looks a real bargain and you can get vouchers for 10% off as well...i tried a packet of bacon cooked it on a tray in the oven and poured off i tea cup of white liquid it had shrunk very small too
to be fair the bacon tasted ok but i wont be buying anymore as i want to spend on bacon not water....will follow the thread to see if people say anything is worth a tryonwards and upwards0 -
There bags of fish are good- smoked haddock and salmon. I buy their chicken breast and bags of cooked chicken strips are handy to have as well. I use their bacon for through pasta or risotto were I cut off all the fat first anyway. Trial and error to see what you're happy with
