Duchy, you should perhaps take your own advice. The only censorshipping post here is yours. As far as I can see, this thread is putting an alternative view across, not trying to ban anything. Yours is the only one stating that what has been written shouldn’t have been. And if you don’t like our ‘Pollyanna’ posts, then do what you suggest we do and don’t read ‘em.

I won't give you a hug I'll give you something a thousand times better - a cwtch! We Welsh can cwtch much better than any English can hug, and we love cwtching

I love that word takes me right back to my childhood..

It even has it's own facebook page

A cwtch is more like the kind of cuddle you get when you are still a bach, and you are cwtched up with your Mam; and her shawl is wrapped around both you and her

Please let's not allow this thread to descend into the grumpy negativity seen elsewhere. This thread should be a safe zone :D

I'm not going to moan about not winning as it's more having fun of entering.

But...... in the IWIWIW topic people who have won a granola bar or a candle from a competion 3 months ago and everyone fawning over it with 'congratulations' - not really needed.
A thanks in PM perhaps for posting the comp or announcing a big win. A candle isn't going to change your life.
  • Wow please give me some of your positively, not just in entering comps but just in general life lol I'm a serious grumpy guts and I don't know how to get out of it, i'm only young, dread what i'm going to be like in years to come! haha

I find people moaning on the forum actually a positive thing (for me that is pmsl) think about it they moan and go not even gonna enter anymore it's pointless. So less people to contend with for the prize ;) lmao

Oh by the way please take this in a humorous note, seriously it is just a joke don't want to offend anyone, especially on this post :D

if you're a grumpy one now then it doesn't get better :rotfl:

Depends what people moan about - agree with the OP though as whinging about not winning is one of lifes minor problems. I think the majority here enter for the fun , not for wanting something.

    And a future note - i don't take offence to anything :D

 Um, well, I think if it is about the fun of entering, then even the small prizes are special. I don't begrudge anyone posting about their win: if people only posted wins worth, e.g. over £20, then the IWIWIW board would be pretty quiet some days.

I thought this was supposed to be a positive thread... Ho hum...
