Not sure if it helps but I've had similar ones in the past, from Ikea, and they lasted for years but they were kept in a corner pretty much undisturbed. I've not seen these JL ones but wouldn't generally recommend paper shades if they're likely to be bumped/knocked at all.0 -
If anyone is interested the Tina table lamp is also reduced (but not such a big saving)....was £12 now £6

I've bought this and it was an absolute snip at £9. It's quite flimsy (both the frame and the actual paper shade), but if it is going to be standing in one place and doesn't get knocked into, should be fine until the shade succumbs to that killer of all paper shades: dust.0 -
