Is there a way to reliably search FB for your name in a winner's announcement?
When I've tried searching in the past after googling a search facility, nothing has shown. So it's not accurate because I know for definite that I have won things and been mentioned on FB.
I'm now wondering if any google-type searches are actually accurate when it comes to trying to find FB wins. If the ones I know about aren't showing, who knows if there are others out there I don't know about.
So I'm asking, is there a reliable method that you use?

I use google social searcher
if you search using "your name winner" or "your name competition" or "your name congratulations" you should get the results

or you can join facebook groups that post winners which you can search for your name by clicking on the little magnifying glass on the page
these are the ones ive joined

Thanks for the links. The google social searcher isn't showing my most recent wins either so not entirely accurate there.
I am a member of one of the comp groups and I can see that it's a good idea but obvs not all notifications are going to be posted up because it's just not possible and it's lovely people doing their bit in their free time. I wonder if FB has some sort of search blocker???Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!0 -
Similar story for me - I regularly check on some of the facebook groups, but the search facility isn't reliable.
For a couple of weeks recently it was listing the latest relevant post for me as about 15 December; then this one disappeared; then just a few days ago it started listing one dated 10 January. I've done other one-off searches on these and they definitely don't bring up all results.
Social searcher also seems to have gone downhill in the last week. Previously when I was running my saved search of name + winner, the full page was going back about a week. Over the last few days, it is only listing posts in the last 3 hours and most of those don't seem to include the word "winner".
Very frustrating! So I share the request for any hints on reliable facebook search methods.0
