Be paid for packing at home

Hi,
Im looking to make some extra income and i remember years ago my neighbours did some packing (things like cd's and jewellery) for some companies, they would pack so many 100's in boxes and then take them to the companies or deliver them themselves and
get paid quite a lot for it. Does any body know of any companies that would still do this?

When you think how easy it is to make a machine that does 'envelope stuffing' at speed i can't imagine anything like packing would be outsourced to home workers today.
Those schemes had a terrible reputation for finding excuses not to pay for the work you did.
