Sourdough Rye Bread Recipe?

I gave up wheat, rye, barley and oats nearly two years ago because of the gluten and other toxins in those grains. I have just read that old civilisations used to soak or ferment them.

Apparently making sour dough for bread making gets rid of these problems too. Does anybody have a simple recipe for sourdough rye bread?

  • The old style board is a better place to ask, all the bread making experts hang out there :)
  • Yup lots of people who think they have an intolerance to wheat find
it's the quantity of yeast causing the problems and the slow ferment that sourdough uses can make a real difference to the way gluten changes in the cooking process.

Off to the old style board for you !
