I haven't posted or sent updates for a while, sorry, but I have been busy - not as busy as candyblue (or most of the rest of you, actually) but I've been trying in my own little way. So here's the breakdown of what I've done so far:
    £14.96 change jar
£20 18 July: set aside from week's money
£20 25 July: set aside from week's money (which I've now reduced by 20% anyway)
£7.30 27 July: income from selling old science fiction magazines.
£10 3 Aug: didn't get a taxi home, walked instead.
£6.35 7 Aug: fortnightly payment to my bank account from Amazon.

    £78.61 total.

Plus I have a couple of vouchers to get, and various other bits and bobs on their way. And when my finance practice starts being real, I'll be going for platinum (not yet tho, sigh).

Well! Not including it in a total as I've just done it right now, but I just did my first mystery shop! Obviously, the admin of it took forever, being as how it was my first time, but I suppose it still compares favourably with all the hassle of listing on amazon, wrapping it up, trotting to the post office, etc. It took 1.5 hours, tho, for £4.50!!! I'm sure that'll speed up, I did over-prepare a bit, and prepared in the wrong order for things, plus my sister rang prattling about soymilk..... I'm still chuffed tho.

I'm frustrated.... I had 12 items up on ebay finishing yesterday.... how many sold? ONE I'll probably get a measly £3 profit on that too as I have to pay over £2 in fees....

    Hi,

My total for the bronze challange is about £100 so far.

Saved £55 on my car insurance so I've added that in and I've made around £45 in amazon book sales. I've still got car boot and ebay to do but at least I'm on my way.

    Regards,
    FatJock

Sold 2 books today including 1 to America (my 1st one as the person requested it specially from a University in America so I changed the settings on it for them) will update when I know how much profit I've got once I've posted them.

Don't seem to be doing very well on this challenge - maybe I need to have a real think and plan over the weekend - although I am getting my holiday money from my last job tomorrow I hope :j

Well I`m feeling a bit down this week, last week I had an excellent week but this week seems to be on a go slow.

I cant seem to face listing all my eBay items, but I really must make myself do this.

Also because I don't get paid until the 15th of the month (and my budget hasn't gone well this month) I had to turn down five or six MS assignments as I didn`t have the £20 cash to pay up front:mad:

Oh well I am determined to stick to my budget and make more towards the challenge from the 15th

Hope everyone else is having a better week x
