Payment is made by credit card via an encrypted SSL connection validated by payment processor system. To fully enjoy all the benefits provided by HotCrazyDeal and to receive our amazing offers each week, you must subscribe to a monthly membership without any minimum commitment period and without cancellation fee. Pricing conditions: unlimited free access to the service during the trial period! At the end of the trial period the monthly membership fee is charged to your payment method and renewed automatically for each subsequent period, at the price in vigor i.e. £29.90. HotCrazyDeal is edited by E-Savings Inc. (35th Floor. Tower Financial Center, 50th Street and corner of Elvira, Mendez street, Panama City, Panama.). You have the right to oppose, access, rectify and delete all personal information obtained by HotCrazyDeal while using the service. You can exercise this right by sending an email to contact@hotcrazydeal.com or by contacting us at 0808 178 8940 from Monday to Friday: 9am - 7pm (Toll Free).

I would have thought that if payment was taken other than in accordance with the terms and conditions the customer agreed to, then the customer could complain to their card provider who will presumably (given evidence of wrongdoing by the service provider) attempt to recover the customer's money via a chargeback.

Surely MSE could have warned forum users immediately they became aware of the first report that this is a scam - not waited for 'numerous' reports?

Why on earth do people fall for these scams - they're obviously savvy, internet aware people otherwise they wouldn't be members. Members on MSE must have seen countless reports and warnings of people getting sucked in by these 'offers'. Couldn't they stop and think for a minute - "why is Tesco giving me £30 of shopping for £1?".

most of the advertising on facebook is one scam or another!
• Watch out for the slimming formulae ads on Facebook. Recently (supposedly) endorsed by Dawn French and Nigella Lawson, they offcer you "free" samples of a revolutionary new slimming aid. Should you accept they will send you a sample of the tablets for 4.99 after which they will charge you 99.00 per month. Someone I knew came to me with this as she had signed up and asked me to intervene.

Having spoke with the two stars' agents I found that the testomonies were truly false and that the agents were trying to pursue the sellers legally.:T:T

The company was of course based in america and continually e mailed the victim who had asked to cancel and had been told she couldnt. e mails were simply signed Ms Nancy.

When I stepped in I flatly refused to allow any money to be sent to them and despite their threats I called their bluff. My rudeness to them must have had some effect because about a month later after they had taken NO money they wrote back to me saying the account had been cancelled and no money would be taken.

One up to me I think but watch out I understand theyre still at it:T

You need a bit more than 1 report to go on before you start shouting scam as an official website notification. Otherwise MSE would be liable if it proved to be incorrect and was just one person's opinion of a legitimate company.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

I've used various plugins and dns filters to remove 99.99% of web adverts. I really can't understand why people waste their internet or eyeball bandwidth on them.
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.
