Viagogo - Please can anyone help or give advice

Options
Hi there Guys
please please help. My husband loves the darts so before christmas I went online to find the darts was sold out in glasgow. I went on Viagogo so I chose 2 seats in section 52 at £81 each total cost came to £203 (including delivery etc) I thought he is worth it.

Tickets arrived on friday and they are for the god of the gods miles away from my original choice. I contacted Viagogo who tola me to send a photo of the tickets which I did. (the tickets i had been sent are currently on sale on their website for £35) I would be told that someone would get back to me on mon/tues.
I called today to be told that because all my confirmation says is tiered seating then my tickets that I have been sent are the right ones. But they are not what I chose or what I paid for.
The website lets you chose your seats but when it comes to payment and confirmation all it states is tiered seating. They havent been very nice about and I have been offered the chance to resell the tickets. I dont want to resell the wrong tickets I just want my right tickets or my money back as per their so called guarantee. If you chose anywhere on the website the confirmation just states tiered seating,it doesnt state the seats you have chosen or paid for at a premium.

Am i totally stuffed?

please anyone can you help me.

  • I'd be inclined to threaten them with small claims. It is clear that you have to select a certain block when booking, there is no option just for tiered seating. Plus the price you paid indicates a better seat than those at the top. No one can be certain, but on the information given I would find for you - on the balance of probabilities you have proven your case.

Now they are offering £30 compensation voucher (really helpful) and have also stated that no upper tickets cost £81 but are still refusing refund. Have spoken with citizens advice bureau and send "sales of goods act" letter but the address is Geneva !
have I any hope in getting my money back ?
