New to crafts...

Hello everyone!

I'm quite new to crafts, but have been building up a stock of different materials to make some presents and hopefully some cards for this Christmas for people as I'm on a tight budget.

I have things like ribbon, lots of jewellery making things (thats what I first became interested in, so have lots of beads, wire etc), lots of card and paper and other crafty things but am lacking in inspiration right now for what I can make for people. I have 2 sisters, 1 brother, my mum, dad, boyfriend and a few friends to make for.

So far, I've made ribbon bookmarks for my sisters with semi-precious stones which are their birthstones, but I'm not sure what I can do for the male members of my family or what else I can do for my sisters and mum.

Any suggestions or websites to look through would be very welcome. The only thing is, I'm no good at sewing!

    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!
