Does anyone buy things from charity shops cheaply and sell them on eBay?

"However, I have a caveat. Those people who stumble on something really valuable and then sell it on, make a small fortune and keep the lot. Say a piece of jewellery which turns out to have diamonds rather than paste or cubic zirconia - that kind of thing."
my comment mostly referred to this albeit it happens on a smaller scale. a lot of charity shops price their items based on volunteers limited knowledge. also, they dont have the power to send items to auction/get them properly valued like a "hawker" might. if people spot a bargain then great, however, buying to sell on with sole intention of making a profit is pretty low. /my opinion."sometimes, i guess there just aren't enough rock" -forrest gump0
