Last week they sent me a paying in book with an agreed amount to be paid monthly, this was after I had wriitten to them offering to pay...today I have received a notice of intended litigation (something like that) unless I pay in full.
Now I am really annoyed...so what I would like to know is can I still write the standard letter for the CCA even though I have previously written to them offering payment? Would they use that against me?

100% CCA them - threat of litigation is guff, once you have sent the CCA the account is in dispute so tehy could not go ahead with any.

Thanks, so it wont matter that i have basically admitted the debt is mine by writing to them before? And is the letter that is on the national debt helpline ok to use as I have to write it by hand and it is much shorter than the one I have seen on here.

No it wont, that really only is relevant to statute barred debts.
Is that as you have no printer, if so write it on the puter and then put it on a memory stick and go to your local library and ask them to print it

These people are the lowest scum imaginable. They threatened me with everything from court action to sending debt collectors to my door. These threats are rubbish. I sent them a CCA request and they have gone quiet. They are now in default and the debt is unenforcable, as they have failed to produce the signed credit agreement. I only resorted to this because thay would not agree a reduced payment plan, and used threats from the start, but now I realise it's the best thing I have done. There are some sample letters in the Consumer Action Group site, just put Moorcroft in the search and everything is there. As long as you send the CCA request they can no longer ask you for any payment until the CCA is produced, which I am certain they won't be able to do. Good luck.0
