60th Birthday Quiz Ideas

Hi,
We are planning a surprise 60th birthday party for my mother in law in a function room in a pub. There will be about 40 guests invited and was thinking about doing a fun quiz as there's no disco or entertainment. She was born in 1954 and the guests ages will range from 10 to 80.
Does anybody have any ideas on what we could do please?

I would seriously think about getting a disco or something to be honest.
A quiz is only going to last half an hour and an hour, then what does everyone do......make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
