Morning! That spammer earlier on even talked about how they liked cake in each of their spam posts - no joke! So I blame Bear for the outbreak.0

What does that mean?
Someone coming on who is a bit cantankerous and disagrees with several people?
Someone who starts a 'wind-up' c*ck and bull thread? (gives a few chuckles usually, no?)
All seems a bit sheepish/weird/authoritarian/institutional - unless of course, it's someone who comes on and spouts obsceneties/issues death threats or something.
Has anyone actually ever done that here?
An example that is seen on this boards would be a person joining to ask for advice on say bankruptcy, perhaps very depresssed, possibly suicidal and for a troll to think it would be fun to belittle the person and call them unpleasant names and basically suggest that to take bankruptcy is a cheat's way out of dealing with their debts.
Or for someone to post who has lost their income or who is unable to work and is struggling financially and for a troll response to suggest that only scroungers claim benefits and that the person should starve/be homeless/ kill themselves/man up and find work etc etc.
Maybe the troll thinks it raises some chuckles, but the poster who is feeling down and depressed probably isn't laughing.
And yes I've seen a couple of really nasty death threats on here over the years, and lots of uncalled for personal abuse and obscenities.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
