Be prepared to keep feeding it AAA batteries the price advantage will soon be nil after a couple of months. Sony one is good quality and easy to use.0 -
Heres an even better deal:

Even has a radio and games.
At around #30 this does what it says, plays music, radio and video clips.
I did have initial teething problems, it wouldnt switch on after charging. I despaired that I had knackered it taking the USB cable out. However i tried resetting it by poking a guitar string into the reset hole, et voila it sprang to life! It has done this a couple of subsequent times but seems to be behaving itself now, and the main thing is, it works on Win 98se, which the zen v+ didnt. Does what the zen does and has a bigger screen.
You have to convert video files first, thats the only drag, using the software that comes with it. But this wasn't a major purchase factor.
The FM reception is great, i can wander round the house listening to the radio with minimal interference.
The only gripe really is that the PC freezes sometimes when transferring files, however, this is as likely to be the fault of the PC.
4/50 -

My son got a black one of these for his birthday in November (when it cost £10 dearer). We are now on to our third one as the ear jack socket on the broke on the inside (same fault with both). Unfortunately they wouldn't give us a refund and only gave us a replacement, so we are waiting to see if the same thing will happen to this one.0 -
