After catching up with the main board :j:j:jI've started to do a few mag dailies, when it states 25 entries on say chat is that 25 entries each separate competitions or does it mean that you can only enter 25 total competitions, hope this makes sense.

It means you can enter 25 competitions on that site, before having to resort to doing any shares etc.


Some of the mags (eg. Look, Marie Claire etc) only allow 6 entries but again you can bump this up with shares on FB Twitter and email.

You can enter 6 of them, but if you share one of those on the page you get after entering it will earn you an extra entry. In that way you could enter all 7 comps. Same applies the other mags. You can share the comps you enter to gain extra entries.

Yes, as Blulu says above, you can enter up to the max number allowed, without having to resort to sharing. But say on Chat there may be 30 comps you want to enter, you can gain access to the 5 which are over your limit by "sharing" 5 of the first 25 comps you do. It's up to you whether you share on FB, Twitter or by email, or all three even - each one share gets you one more comp.

You're not the only one sounding thick Nanny7-I thought that by 'sharing' a certain comp (ie win a kettle), I was getting extra entries into that particular prize draw (ie-more chances to win the kettle)-not getting extra entries in the the 'dailies' generally. Thanks for asking the question as I am now a bit more enlightened...

nanny 7 - NEVER be afraid to ask a question on here! No kind hearted comper would ever thing 'OMG How thick must they be for asking that!' I often have major brain blanks when the answer I am looking for is obvious!

Thank you all so much for your input, cant believe I have avoided entering say Chat comps as I thought the odds of winning would be so low due to what I thought was the amount of entries
per competition (25) I also thought sharing was only face book and twitter !!!

Yes you can share by email too, which is an option I nearly always choose if necessary as I have 2 email addresses, so I share with my other self!
