Mortgage Before First Job

I'm currently a student at uni but I have my job lined up for when I graduate. How long into my job do I need to wait before applying for a mortgage. I will be on a permanent contract.
I also have a deposit already saved up of around 25% of the price I will be buying the property for (The property is worth more than I will be buying it for). I have a credit card which I pay off in full each month and no other debts.

Potentially just a letter of employment will be enough, some lenders will want to see 1 payslips. Others will need between 3-12 months. It really depends on the lender.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Nationwide will accept a letter from your employer and may seek to contact your employer for a reference. There are other lenders with similar policies0

I applied for my first mortgage 3 months into my first job and had no problems, they only required one pay slip. This was with Nationwide. Every lender is different, I know Coventry building society wanted 12 months pay slips so they were a no go.0
