Paying into pension from net salary

I'm little confused so will try to provide some additional info. I am a higher rate tax payer (in the £45 - 50K bracket). I'm not in a salary sacrifice scheme. So is it the same whether I pay from gross or net? Thanks all!
As you already complete SA then yes it's the same regardless. However just be careful to think about the gross payment that you actually want in your pension, then deduct 20% tax and pay in that net payment.0
