Pension comparison site.

Once the dust's settled on all the new charges [and new hidden traps] when will we see the first independent online pension fund comparison website?

Unlikely you ever will. To be independent it will have to feature the market place. Not just a few deals on the DIY side. You may well see a limited panel of providers being compared though.

Given its supposed role, I'd like to think it would be the Money Advice Service. But maybe it's wishful thinking that that organisation would do anything so useful with its budget....

When you look at other tables, you have to end up saying it is unreliable. Although it will be as it cannot take into account negotiated prices and superclean. It can only really give a guide.

Do you mean comparing the funds themselves or comparing various ways of holding the funds (eg through a platform, broker, direct or IFA?)
