Having problems with a twitter win

Hiya I won a prize from a nightclub on Christmas Eve and I'm having problems trying to speak to them about receiving my prize.

They mentioned me In a tweet saying I won on Xmas Eve, asking to send my details to a email address. I did that when they replayed they said about me picking My prize up. They are bassed in SHEFFEILD and I'm in swansea to far. I checked the competion tweet and the photo of it on Facebook nowhere does it state that you have to pick the prize up. In fact no t&c's anywhere. I emailed saying I couldn't pick up prize. 3 weeks, 3 emails and 2 tweets I finally get a tweet saying to email somebody else did that had a replay asking what prize I won sent the screenshot I had of the competion to this person now getting ignored again. Sent another 2 emails and nothing.:mad::mad::mad:

I haven't a clue what to do next, if anybody could help I would be very great full thanks

What club is it?

If it's an independent/small chain only based in Sheffield I would probably chalk it up to experience.

Even though it doesn't say in T+Cs you have to collect, I am always wary with entering comps from location-based companies.

If they have replayed the competition they'll have picked another winner,probably somebody local who could collect the prize.

Hiya thanks for the replies, the club is called leadmill. I contacted another winner on twitter and they are getting nowhere either.

So just a local club then...to be honest, whilst it's annoying that their customer service is so bad, I would just accept it was a local prize and move on.

Leadmill is a small club/gig venue in Sheffield I doubt they expected anyone outside of Sheffield to have heard of them or even bother entering their comp. I know that doesn't make it any better, but as others have said, I would just put it down to experience and accept you aren't going to get your prize.

I would have to disagree that The Leadmill isn't well know, it's had loads of famous bands play there over the years. Here's a link for info:

Personally I would post something publicly on their facebook page and see if that gets you anywhere.

That's the trouble with unclear T&C's

It didn't say you have to collect the prize so you assume they deliver, but as they didn't say they deliver the assumption can equally be that you have to collect it.

If a company in the course of their trade does not deliver then in the absence of T&C's which say otherwise it could be reasonable to assume there is a fair chance that prizes will not be delivered either.
