No offence to fans, but this is supposed to be diiiiiirrrrrre!!!!!

According to the reviews I've read.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

It was slated in the USA and Canada by critics so taken off and pretty much rewritten (and shortened) for the West end stage
It got slated again last week when it opened to the press :(

From what I've heard, the special effects are stunning but the show is overly long and the music is less than memorable

I was really looking forward to seeing this as well :'(
  • Do you think anyone can book this or do they ask your phone number or anything to prove you're with O2?

Said in the paper yesterday that it is really good! And a great improvement from when it was in the US.

Grab these tickets and see this show quickly!! Before it closes down - the critics have panned it, and I (as a massive LOTR fan) will not be taking my family to see it.

Me and my mum went to see it on 15th June just before it officially opened. It was truly a spectacular show - great effects and use of staging. I would however describe more as theatre with music rather than musical theatre as many of the songs didn't really seem to contribute much.

Overall, we both really enjoyed it and would recommend it to people who enjoy the "spectacle" of theatre rather than the songs as such.
