in Credit cards
if you have a 0% balance transfer on a credit card for say 24 months do you have to wait for the 24 months to be up before you can transfer your remaining debt to another 0% card or can you do it after say after 18 months ?

You can do it when you want. Though it's generally of less benefit to you if you transfer it earlier, good to be able to transfer it or pay it off a couple of weeks before the deal finishes to make sure you don't accrue interest.0
