  • :rotfl: how much were they originally? that's all that matters ;) i never saw these are they good?

I honestly don't know how much they normally are since I had to jump and push the box off the top shelf to get them (my saturday night fun :rotfl:) The sets are displayed nicely with a variety of goodies-a pencil case, self inking stamper, water colour paints, felt tip pens, sharpener, paint brush, roller stamper, wax crayons, chunky pencils and scissors. So a lovely present for little ones (three or four year olds) to have lots of fun :)

Right I am back, 4 mugs of tea and 9 hours later apart from an hours vacuuming and a quick zip around the supermarkets - nearly 20 thousand emails deleted, a years worth and often in triplicate and the minimum of in box folders made.

Next problem is this wretched awards lunch tomorrow which has just got far worse than even I can imagine.

Last week it went down hill rapidly when OH announced we had got a lift to the station and everyone at this awards lunch from his depot was travelling together - great, an hour on the train of interminable boredom whilst they talk about work endlessly.

Now OH says that one of the stops en route has a major signal problem so we are being collected at 8.45 in the morning for an earlier train  - the lunch does not start until 11 so if the trains run to time we will arrive at the venue an hour early - if not we will be stuck on a cold miserable platform for half an hour changing trains (normally its straight through) or even worse the replacement bus service.

We went to a works do last year and it was so incredibly awful I vowed never to do it again but I got talked into this one as its a nice restaurant and nice menu but that's the only good point now.

Could I get out of it - yes but I don't want to upset OH despite the computer debacle yesterday.

Right off to find tomorrows outfit which now needs to include several warm layers and a large handbag for the book I am reading - just hope there is enough book left to read. And copious perfume incase I get stuck next to someone who smokes (I think its hormonal but my sense of smell is so strong!)
