Evening Elite,
Kind of on an angry constructive bender, so to speak :shhh: filth monsters :shhh:
Essentially it started last night when Ms P and I went to Ts and I was subsequently trouted. I had some penny finds and a chocolate bar, so ended up paying for the chocolate (as I couldn't be bothered to argue over a 1p book). As I picked it up I dropped my bank card on the scanner and managed to scan it again accidently and as the SA had wandered off I just walked off without thinking about it. As we left I heard shouting and security signalled me to go back over. Em toddled off for fear of being discovered with her books and they accused me of me stealing. At this point I already threw the receipt away (into a soggy bin full of coffee) and then ensued a 5 minute discussion of them trying to get me to pay again. I asked if there was a way of looking up previous transactions and she said they couldn't (I think that's utter b*llocks as in most places you can) and eventually I was 'allowed' out followed by the watchful eyes of security.
Then earlier today some bint scratched my car, whilst I was sitting in it too the cheeky mare. She slammed her door into mine as she opened it and just glanced at me. All whilst waiting for my brother who hadn't been given his cash back.
So in a constructive mini rage I complained to Ts, also to S's for cancelling my interview an hour before I was due to go asking them if it was standard practice to hire someone before interviewing all applicants. Also received 6 rejection e-mails in the last 2 days, honestly beginning to feel cursed job wise.
I apologise for the long post, I know others are going through a rough time and I'm certainly not looking for sympathy and such, in all honestly I just needed a rant. So thanks for all the fish and here's some wise words from the streets of Hackney (mini Co-op hunt )
I hope you're all ok, I'm off for a catch up'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
(and did you manage to become that?)
I'll start: I wanted to be a fire engine driver, on one of those big American articulated fire trucks with the turntable ladder. Sadly, I'm not:(
In order: a pirate, fire(wo)man, forensic pathologist and a racing driver.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
Evening all
Congrats to aau1, emmlouie and e21's dawn on exam passes.
Busyspider I love your painting, lovely deep colours and has an uplifting mood.
Bubbs I hope you get a good nights sleep in your own bed. I did see a fair bit of water on my travels today but Dad safely collected, fed and I think he has just gone to bed. Obviously nervous about his brothers condition but both his sisters are travelling down tomorrow so the four can spend time together.
Roads were reasonably clear although drove through extreme and changing weather conditions.
Hugs to mhoc and rhos for the trials they are facing at the moment.
Mhoc seems like you were having a stir crazy day today.
No powercut tonight yet but have given dad candles and charged my devices up earlier as both make useful torches.
