    Evening paw sniffers,

    I'm all burgered out.

I've made chilli, Spag Bol, shepherds pies and meatballs and I'll be happy to never see another burger for a long time.

Thanks PD for the info on the Finest baking potatoes. Got 2 bags free using the orchard vouchers. Used both the £1.50 and the 50p together. Do you think they are a bit sweet though?

How rude to complain when they were free:rotfl:

Might be useful to keep a list of set fillers for each shop...does anyone else do this?

Yes I do. My Avs S shopping from this afternoon may help. Due to S being "a very expensive store" (IMO) at the moment, half my shop was either A r'backs vs N/A or an A mbuy offer. I used Jakemans Lozenges (on 2 for £1) as two sep. fillers for Avs S.

Only the Blueberry and the Eucalyptus ones (so may need a bigger store?). Both of these two each return N/A vs Morries at the moment, and both also vs W at N/A. But Eucalyptus compares vs T more expensive (at 60p). So would need two Blueberry (only one filler) on vs T.

SP Sausage Rolls 8 pack - on r'back at £1 - compare vs N/a for Sains or Waities.

Tenderheart Cabbage (50p) is N/A vs S (compares more expensive to T and M). Tenderheart also compares to A on Tvs A.

Sadly my 'big-time glitching:rotfl:' trigger item (that I had lined up for my Avs S shopping) has proved to be unavailable in any A I've visited. Waiting for this new item to be stocked in A - on a.com but not msm, don't worry: it'll be revealed once I've tested (unless it appears on msm:(:() as it wouldn't be a huge glitch thing, but one of these 'pence' things!

The 50p broccoli should be N/A vs Morries based on weight range (although showing with a much more expensive price on msm) - prices are being collected instore rather than using the details from msm/msl - not yet tested this week so don't know whether the Broccoli is giving N/A again. Any womble info. folks?:)

I could do some 'fillers' lists - although these are relying on items showing N/A on msm (and checking both logged in and out) returning as that - this may not happen if the item has gone OOS at the competitor in the last seven days but msm has updated to show N/A. So it can be quite risky! For these reasons I tend to leave the more dubious, 'in doubt' items off some of the comparison lists (I don't know which items I am leaving off and couldn't tell you offhand as I don't even add them to the record in the first place).

    I'll have a look.

Tonight whilst I'm here I propose to do a 'Boots cheaper' list and a 'Superdrug cheaper' one. Although this is despite 3 for 2 glitches at Boots proving much cheaper, and mbuy triggers on Mr A, often on health/beauty/shower gel etc. items proving far better than relying on Boots or Superdrug! With that in mind, the two lists may each end up being very short! It'll probably be some time - as the Boots/Superdrug items haven't been updated for a long while, so starting from scratch.

So - those two, and possibly four (or even seven:D:rotfl::() further lists - APG: T fillers list, S fillers, M fillers, W fillers. T PP - fillers vs A, fillers vs S and fillers vs M (we hope:rotfl:).

T's L/C Tomato Soup 400g at 16p appears to be a filler for Tvs M (actual result on T PP). As regards APG, basically the 'fillers' (in the sense of a 'cheap' item seeking an N/A) are items on which A is more than 10% cheaper than anyone (of the four rivals) that stocks a comparison item and are put on the comparison vs those that do not stock it. If T does not stock it, then it would/could be Avs T. If however, T has it but say W does not, then it's Tvs A (and possibly Svs A as well if it's a branded item) as well as Avs W. Or can just buy separate (but then buying an additional item on some future APG shop, where you could have used this item as a filler had you not already bought it on non-APG shopping earlier).

Any own brand item in S is also a filler on a BM shop, but only worthwhile if S is cheapest on it (and preferably not available for comparison from Mr A) or it's a whoopsie own brand.

Finally had time to speed-read through last week's posts.
Thanks TM, tweets, EmP, rhos and especially bubbs (and anyone else I missed out) - that was very sweet of you :A :A :A

I should have asked, really, shouldn't I? "Please, Miss, may I be excused?" :o

There were a few real-life things that suddenly needed dealing with. Some sad, concerning friends (which I won't trouble you with here as there seems to have been a lot of sad news on here recently - sending positive vibes to everyone on here who needs them). Lots of glad, though, as well.
And a life-changing one, for yours truly. In a good way. A really good way. A really really good way.:) A 'try-and-slap-the-grin-off-my-face' way. :D:D:D

    Nice one JB
and your signature is spot on ! My nannie used to say something similar in Glaswegian and not latin but amounted to the same

What did she say? I would love to know:)

I have the sig phrase on a t-shirt, and the painting it comes from.

Some friends bought it for me, as they thought it applied to me. (I am normally a rather taciturn person ... honest!)

On the same subject, I once said this phrase to a friend who is 'a bit of a gabber', shall we say. I must have been getting a bit fed up with her when I said it :o She kept reminding me of it - in a good-natured way. So for her fortieth birthday, I got a t-shirt with it embroidered on, in Italian (as she is an Italianophile, if that's the right word):
