Is that like pouring sugar over honey to sweeten it? Or tryuing to deep-fry butter?

    It's definitely an either-or thing

That reminded me of James Martin's bacon sandwich recipe, which involves frying bacon in butter, then frying the bread in the bacony butter - not for the diet conscious :rotfl:

You might like this one, then (hopefully not too rude for pre-watershed). This was on American television, so they really have no excuse!

When Asiana Flight 214 crash landed at a San Francisco airport in July 2013, the Oakland TV station KTVU was duped into giving incorrect names for the flight crew. (Probably somebody at the TV station having a private joke, which ended up being broadcast.)
The presenter, Tori Campbell, said live on air: "The National Transport Safety Board has confirmed these are the names of the pilots on board Flight 214 when it crashed. We are working to determine what roles each of them played during the landing."
The TV station also broadcast this graphic -

Rolling on the floor, absolutely love it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My mystery wines have arrived :beer:
The case of red is the best, includes a bottle of £20 Saint Emilion and three other £10+ bottles. The cheapest is £6 :T
The white contains mostly bottles around the £8 mark. There are 2 £10 wines, but also a rogue liebfraumilch
There were only 11 whites instead of 12, so the driver said I would be refunded for one bottle, it will be interesting to see how much I am refunded ;)
All in all I am really pleased. I need to put the expensive ones away to enjoy another time, they will be wasted at my party on Friday if they are opened after everyone has had a skinful!
Now, do I test drive a bottle tonight or not.......? :A
Yes do a test drive its still the weekend.:)

    Evening peeps. :)
just come back from a day at my Bro's and family, nice to see my 3 nieces.

When I found this thread, it was an eye opener...

The reasons I love this thread..........

Ups and downs there is always someone here to help you and give you advice.

The information is second to none, with peeps going out of their way to find glitches and report back.

As other peeps have said, I have more friends on here than in RL, by at least 10 fold, by my reckoning.

The peeps who have helped me over the last few weeks, have really earned a star in heaven. Their help has got me though a bad time.

I used to always think of this song when anything that went wrong in my life. I've not listened for a while, but I am now, thanks to you lot.
