    :rotfl:Urgent housekeeping chores :rotfl:

According to this, I would definitely not have enjoyed my sewing today, and shall probably not be enjoying it tomorrow either

Hope you both get a sound sleep soon, so annoying when you can't sleep

I have a set of things to distract my mind with when I can't sleep. My favourite and most successful is imagining my ideal cottage, how the garden is laid out, where my veg patches are, where my log store is etc. Total fantasy but does the job sometimes

    On that note, goodnight

Had my 1st experience of @sda customer service desk tonight. I bought the 3 for £6 offer but the discount didn't come off.

I had checked all SEL labels and all products I bought were still showing in offer. Explained to the guy I hadn't had discount and he went off to check shelves.

He comes back and says yes all labels are present but you can't mix men and women's products (can men not use wipes?:D). I said this was incorrect as I had bought same products the previous day and the discount worked and also said they were all in the same offer online.

He then went to check with a manager and he then returned and stated manager will not give the discount as a refund despite the SEL being present and the offer being online.

I then asked do I have to ring your Head Office to get this resolved which he stuttered at. So I advised I would be ringing in the morning and took the name of the manager who refused to honour the advertised offer.

Congrats on your exam results aau.

Lol this is a new one :rotfl: I've heard "you can't mix products on different aisles", next one was " you can't mix products on different sections". All just excuses not to give refund and gift card. If I wasn't concerned about drawing attention to myself I'd have contacted head office many times about this issue. Trading standards would have something to say about it also.

    Still awake.:o
Tried to sleep but can't. Too much carp going on. :(
  • Having a powercut. Yes usually asleep by now so why is it bothering me. Only seems block of 8 houses but we are furthest away from station.
Strange question. Why do the lights I have with spotlights in still work slightly? Not light but giving off enough of a glow to move around house.
Hope power comes back so can charge phone or no alarm in morning.

This made me smile as it reminded me of a power cut we had once.
My DH is an electrician so we have a funny ensemble of lights in our house, ones that come on as you walk into the room etc. Anyway the ones in the kitchen were flourescents like they would have in schools or offices that hold their charge for safety reasons.
So we are having said powercut and we are in the kitchen carrying on as usual pleased with the lights etc but it wasn't until the next day when we discovered we had the whole street baffled I think they thought we had a special supply of electricity:rotfl:

I should have looked into the questions on the form ages ago TM, another thing I was putting off I don't like form filling. :o

And then I got myself worked up when I couldn't find things. Think the window key was worrying me too but that is sorted. :D
