i think the op on the boots thread had it wrong, they are saying now that the points only go if you have not used the card for two years.:)

This makes much more sense because I have never ever used my points but they are still on my card because I used it the other day and they were still showing on my receiprt.

My Givaudan perfume was the J'adore De Doir and it smells like flowers. Will make a perfect air freshener. Mom doesn't like it, it's too strong for her. Such fun.

I'm sure someone pointed this out the other day but at Boots stores that have Clarins stands they are giving out 5ml samples of all their products to people who want to try before they buy. I went today and came away with 8 little samples, all different. Perfect to take when visiting friends or going on holiday etc. Have a look at your locals if you have any that have this stand.

    .

Hi Mimi, did you print out the pink and white invite on the web site? I was hoping to pop along but I've run out of ink!!
    Thankyou

Yes, it happened to me last year. They helped themselves to a trampoline frame that was clearly not intended to be taken by them. It was outside my garage, nowhere near the end of the drive/gate. Robbing Chancers   it still makes me mad

We had the whole frame of a lean to conservatory taken from down the side of our garage. :(

  • I feel for you IAS, but spitting feathers is a bit much. I guess that you paid £8 for three razors (after refund and giftcard) that you probably knew were £9 each or £27 in total. You were hopeful that you would get three razors for nothing and make a £4 profit on top.

It didn't work so it is probably now IAS 46, Sada 2 in the long game.

Take it on the chin, these things happen and you should just forget about it.

I'll leave it to your conscience to decide whether having paid £8 for three razors, you want to return them for £27, thus making a £19 profit on the deal.

    The choice is yours..

Good point SFSB I am afraid I am usually butter side down with asda.
Always usually fairly slow taking up glitches. My asda is a good drive away. I lost on the cat food too.

I took the lynx on the chin, and the impulse. Haven't been to asda since before Xmas.

But fair point you made, I was just having a pants day topped off with a flopped shop.
    Sorry

I've only got 2 points on my boots card - a very long time since I bought anything in boots

I have been good this last year and not got carried away trying to amass points, didn't step foot in there before xmas, did go to the 70% off sale but first time ever no points to spend.

And used most of the points I got from my first sale shop on the second shop.

I did use 100 points the other day to get 3 RTC No17 nail varnishes 2 were 50p one 25p and they went through 342. :)
