Has anybody any ideas on what I can do with 6 egg yolks, made a pavlova and can't bear the thought of the yolks going to waste :o

 Custard, chocolate fondants, lemon curd, mayonnaise, hollandaise sauce, use them with the Ts burgers as a binder for meat balls, ice cream, for sweet short crust pastry (for a richer crust) and creme brulee:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/originalcremebrulee_81524

You could freeze them: Place one egg yolk in each ice cube cavity of a clean ice cube tray. Add a pinch of salt to each yolk (if you plan to eventually use them in savoury recipes) or a pinch of sugar (if you will use them in sweet recipes). Freeze overnight until solid, then transfer to an airtight freezer bag.

This website is brilliant for ideas for leftover yolks: http://www.fortysomething.ca/2010/04/recipes_to_use_up_extra_egg_yo.php

    Afternoon all :)

    morning all :hello:
    princes tuna 4 pack is £2.50 in m's from today & is showing as £4 at a's & t's & £6 as s's!!
msl is still showing m's price as £5.99 & msm is showng £2.50 so i'm guessing it's best to wait until this corrects?

I know the question about when morries prices update on the APG has been done to death previously, but I wasn't sure if things had changed since they went live on MSM.
So, is Weds pm a good time to test the Tuna please; it's been showing right on MSM/MSL since the afternoon of cheer1eaders post, but I haven't seen any confirmations of it comparing yet.

Ours never lasts long enough for me to worry about that! :o I'd be wary of keeping it too long though, I wouldn't keep it more than a week.

You could make custard or whisk them lightly and freeze individualy or in 2s you can then defost and add to cake omellette or use for eggwash

:o I have a stash of yolk only recipes for when I make macaroons. Creme patissiere is a good one too.
