    hello everyone,
noticed that Iams cat food 1k bag is £2.69 in my local W rose, (not that they have any left!) if I bought it at tosco would it compare as its £4.50 or 2 for £8.00. does it make a difference if the multibuy kicks in? I cant really get my head around this compare thingy. would someone mind enlightening me please.:)

Sorry lj*, just spotted your post. Think it got lost amongst the chatter. Ts PP doesn't compare against W at all I'm afraid, just A, S and M

Is it day surgery bubbs? I had an unexpected stay in NGH after neck surgery in June (was supposed to be day surgery but I was really poorly after the anaesthetic which has never happened in the other 12 surgeries I've had!). It was not an experience I'd recommend, so I really hope you get out the same day and it all goes well! Edited to say there was no problems with the surgery, and I have had a few there, it was just the overnight stay that was, shall we say "enlightening", and really showed how staff shortages affect the running of the ward. Staff were very professional, but rushed off their feet, and I can see how mistakes are made.

I have a hospital stay coming up in April - having major bladder surgery and will be in for at least a week, but its a London hospital. I might finally make it as a more regular poster then, rather than a lurker who ocassionally posts, as will be off work 2-3 months, and won't be able to drive for at least 6 weeks. Think I will be going up the wall with boredom!

    just emailed them :)
So my weekend was a real mixed bag.
My school reunion was awesome- there was only a few of us but it was all those I was closest to at school. It was like the last 20 years hadn't happened. We spent the entire night in fits of laughter and had lots of fun catching up.

Sunday wasn't half as much fun, firstly I was hanging out my ar5e. :o:rotfl:
I had loads of avon orders to deliver so had to drag my self out and get them sorted . When I finished I went to my mums for a cuppa with lil stink. We had only just sat down when her phone rang. Her friend and neighbour was asking mum to go up and open her front door as she was waiting for the paramedics to arrive and couldn't move. We rushed up the street to her and found her laying on the front room floor holding her thigh . She had tried (stupidly) to take down a kitchen cabinet all by herself.(she in her 60's and only a tiny little thing) the cabinet had come crashing down, knocking her off a chair she was standing on onto a stone floor. She managed to drag herself to the front room to call an ambulance. Unbelievably while we were there my little boy was playing with her cat and fell and hit his face on the screw that was in the back of the cabinet :(
So I ended up taking him to A+E. He had a couple of butterfly stitches put in. He caught himself literally about 2cm's over his eye. I swear I nearly threw up on the spot when he did it, it was awful.
The poor lady was taken away and has had to have surgery to fix a plate in as she broke her pelvis:(:(
OMG!! glad you son is ok :) hope your mum's neghbour has a speedy recovery bless her xx
    Happy Bargain Hunting!!
  • these seem like a good price in Tosco for anyone who takes/needs them.

    041247.jpg?v=2
    £2 each and on 3 for 2 so 3 for £4

3 for £10 in Sada although doubt they would compare because of mixed prices in promotions
