    Making meatballs:)

    4 burgers
    Small onion chopped finely,
    Herbs and seasoning
    Breadcrumbs
    Beaten egg

Mix all together in a dish and brown in a little olive oil. Fry until cooked through or just finish in the oven in the sauce.

You can add stuff from your cupboards ...,chilli flakes, garlic, tomato paste, sun dried tomatoes, add some pork sausages with their skins off, chorizo and smoked paprika, cumin and coriander. Take your pick.

I'm going to have mine tomorrow with homemade tomato sauce but if you fancy buy a jar. Serve with pasta and dough balls.....there are 22 in a pack. Plenty to go round.

These have been a really good buy TM, I have made chilli, spag bols, lasagne, cannelloni, meat balls and shepherds pies from them. Now I have no room in the fridge or freezer again :)

    good evening :)

Ive missed another whole day. Who else had some sunshine today? wasn't it fab? :j :j I made the most of it in the garden, things are crazy out there. Bulbs are all up way to early, Crocuses in full bloom, raspberries sprouting leaves and most peculiar of all......my Calla lilly has a flower bud  and it's been outside all winter!

DS2 informed me earlier that we have a 'code red situation' on coke cans. So for the sake of my sanity, we NEED a glitch on coke cans :o On the plus side, the Pepsi cans will get (grudgingly) used up

Cjj.....so try to hear about your daughter :(

Hope pray....you are having an awful start to the year :( I hope your wrist isn't too painful. Try not to worry too much about work, it can't be helped.
  • Hope everybody has had a nice day - I had my :money:breakfast today which was really nice. Had the veggie option -Strange combo with eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes & hash browns. Served with roasted veggies - sweet potato, courgettes, red onions & peppers :(:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But it was free and tasted good :D

    1p hunt was rubbish though:(

Found some of the pen sets but they were £8

Can I suggest some other additions. Parsley, raisins, pine nuts and garlic. Being half Italian we had meatballs a lot and those ingredients were ones my Mum used. You might think raisins is odd but it makes them taste a little sweet. I have a few burgers in the freezer so might have a go myself tommorow. Trying to have strict NS couple of weeks as off on hols to Italy with OH and DD in 2 weeks. Got some lovely bread in Waitrose last night which I cut into 4 and froze last night. I got a Bertinet Walnut loaf for 59p today so will do the same with that one.
