Ive got a worse crisis in a couple of weeks, posh award lunch. I can dress for posh dinners or smart casual and I can look presentable for business breakfasts but I have no idea what to wear for lunch - might have to do the very predictable black trousers and nice top.
2 problems - firstly its an hour on the train so whatever I wear has to stand the rigours of being sat on for an hour. Also since they re vamped Birmingham New Street I cant find the exit so I end up on the wrong side and have to walk completely round the block - it will probably be snowing.
Also wine is involved and I have no control at lunch time- hopefully they will limit us to 2 glasses :D Its only in the Bull Ring so there is no point getting a taxi back to the station so I will have to resist the wine or take a large handbag to bring the bottle home.
The last time I got on a train very seriously drunk there was a major incidence on the track and we could not get home so we ended up in Oxford travellodge but that's another story ...

Lol ok you win, your crisis is worse than mine. :p:rotfl:
Defo black trousers and something. Defo take a big bag, just in case the wine is needs a new home :D

The breakfast is great, not greasy and served on a hot metal skillet. One good quality sausage, very lean bacon, two eggs, some mushrooms, small pot of beans, two hash browns and three or four, can't remember, cherry toms on the vine. I paid just under £2 for a cup of tea and they were very happy to give me some hot water as well. Enjoyed it very much and may well do it again tomorrow. Had booked but got up late so cancelled booking but was assured I could just turn up and when I did, the restaurant was very quiet. Was told that it was quiet in Watford too.

Have just gone to website to see when they stop serving breakfast and noticed that I could have got unlimited tea refill. Will do this tomorrow. They serve breakfast from 9 am to noon.

I had a spare voucher with me and gave it to someone else who said he'd come in because someone said there was a free breakfast. Clearly had not been told about the voucher!

I wish we had all these places here :(
