this was posted by tesco on their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tesco) this morning:
There are rare occasions when discontinued products go beyond the "reduced to clear" period, and the value will be reduced to a penny on our tills. We look to remove these items from sale although if you find yourself at the checkout with one of these products we’d allow the sale to take place, our view is it is better these items are sold.
We are not legally obliged to offer the customer products for 1pence, as the Shelf Edge Label would have been marked up with the full price. However, the stores should be encouraged to allow the sale to go through for 1p.
If you do have an incident in the store like this, please let us know and we will investigate.

Hi I've looked and I still can t see any weekend tickets offered. Does anyone know how I find out please
the first sentance of that link says
"We’ve blagged 10,000+ pairs of free tickets to the Ideal Home Show at London's Earl's Court, from Fri 14 - Sun 30 Mar. "
I would assume that as there are 3 Saturdays between those dates, they are likely to be available but will go quickTiger

Hi I've looked and I still can t see any weekend tickets offered. Does anyone know how I find out pleaseIt says on the link the codes will be live at 3pm today. Further down the page it states how many tickets for each day are free and it includes weekends. I'd save the link because it has a link for when the codes go live at 3pm.
Here's how many tickets are available:
Fri 14 - Sun 16 Mar 1,500+
Mon 17 - Fri 21 Mar 3,500+
Sat 22 - Sun 23 Mar 1,000+
Mon 24 - Thu 27 Mar 2,500+
Fri 28 - Sun 30 Mar 1,500+:D

First person to find a trigger wins a walnut whip
There are two impulses that would appear as contenders - not on a.com for me anyway BUT they are on MSE. This may/may not make them a trigger- ie the fact that they are not on a.com. They are as follows

The Ariel linksave is still working instore. I also checked the Baxters soups and Frijj, will have results about 12.45.
The linksave is now showing on MyS so may not work.0 -
On the 2 for £3 items, A.com shows 76 items but Mys shows 69 items. so there are a few possible trigger items. It's not radox s gel, sanex sgel 250ml, lynx or dove s gel. It's not toothpaste either
EDIT - the items missing are Mila Rose hair bands @ £1.75. Thin or thick sizes, available in brown, black or blonde. they would not show on your receipt. Not worthwhile.Tiger
