Em, these kind of ebay-related sites are good for taking the emotion out of online bidding - see an item you like a few days before auction end, decide what you want to pay, leave a bid 'on the book' as it were, and forget about it, until yours is the winning bid hopefully. None of this watching the bidding as the auction is ending, and in all the excitement bidding more than you should.
Particularly good for collection-only auctions - I've got some real bargains that way, including Sammy the Six-Foot Purple-Finned Shark, who lives on top of the bookcase ... only cost me 99p to adopt him.:)

EMMAP, Not only that but you don't need to stay up late to bid if the auction's in the US. I used to buy items from there, and they keep very antisocial hours!:D.

The sniper site will email you later to tell you you won or didn't win so you just check your email in the morning. You get a few frew snipes every year but there's a charge of 1 or 2% after that.

Takes all the stress out. As JB says you need to think in advance what you're happy to pay, then set it up.

Ashamed to say I resisted :o
I have had rather a lot to drink while away this weekend, and the whole of this week will be pretty full on due to social commitments, so I decided to give my liver a much-needed day off
Well done on resisting but be careful people will be saying you are posh if you bought it and didn't open it the same day. ;) :rotfl:

Most expensive wine in our red box was £18, I was really hoping there might have been some port like some of the reviews said. :o

    Thanks squigs

Can’t get a codes to work on bedding but handy if I place another order for something else

I had a little back from TCB so managed to get 25% off total shop

I’m ok with that discount as the bedding I purchased is never in the sale.

I purchased the same set two years ago. And planed to get another in the sales but the set was full price and never in the sale until today :)

  • Can I give a cheeky plug for PawsUp
    http://www.pawsup.org.uk/
the charity of the Durham Retired Police Dogs Benevolent Fund.

    2dvpgms.jpg

The police dogs, upon retiring, are either kept by their handler or kindly rehomed by generous members of the public, friends, family and colleagues
Historically, there has been no provision to assist with the day to day costs of looking after the animals as they put their ‘paws up'. It is the responsibility of the handler or new owner to cover general costs and often considerable vets bills etc.
The charity wants to establish a benevolent fund, with it being financially stable enough to be able to help with costly initial expenses; for example - pet insurance, food, toys, bedding, vouchers for dog products and discounted veterinary, grooming and even training services.
Police dogs provide a tremendous service to our communities for the best part of their working lives, and PawsUp wants to provide the best possible life for them for their retirement.
It's a kind of pension fund for retired police dogs, basically!
It's been set up and is being run by volunteers (I know a couple of the people involved, and about all the hard work they are doing).

Depends on who "they" are :p

Presumably you're looking for fillers to go with a burger shop?

This kind of promo is listed as an exclusion in PP Eg buy cheese and get free crackers

I've got a bottle of port in the JB wine cellar, and don't like the stuff (was a gift) .... when is the next Elite Swap Shop?:)
