Cleared The Boards!

I have finally gone through all 200 odd pages on the competition boards. so now I can concentrate on the new ones as and when they are posted and actually do the mag dailies which I never bothered with as the took too long.

Feeling very acomplished!

Do most people comp this way? I always used to do it by end date until I read a thread a while back where people said it wasn't the best way to do it

I always used to comp by end date as I could never get so far ahead of myself that I had cleared the boards, but with taking the week off at Christmas and some serious hard core comping this month, I too have cleared the boards and am comping in order of newest posted now :j: :j feels really good, but now panicking as I have a week's holiday next month so I guess I will be back to end date when I come home :P

I've had the boards cleared since November and it really helped with keeping up to date during the advents. Now it's a breeze to catch up with newly posted competitions then dailies then clicktowins and mag daillies.
I've noticed many more wins since entering newly posted competitions as opposed to comping by end date, which is really hit and miss. Besides, by the time you get to a competition for something with a Rafflecopter entry form, there are already thousands of entries if entering comps by end date.

Trying to clear the boards myself, but think I'm going to steer clear from the mag dailies, roflcopter and the like- don't want to share loads on my personal facebook page, and it seems like no matter what I'd do, people would always share it more than I would! I guess whatever you enjoy more you stick to, so just gonna stick with the seemingly one-off competitions that pop up so often on the main board.

On a Sunday I go by end date to catch up and complete the boards (as I don't really comp thurs/fri/sat (other than mag dailies/dailies). Then mon-weds I go by new comps
