8 The winner will receive two return economy class flights with Vietnam Airlines from London Gatwick airport to Da Nang airport, and seven nights' accommodation for two people in a pool villa at Fusion Maia resort in Da Nang. Breakfast and all spa treatments are included (subject to availability) with a minimum of two treatments per person per day guaranteed by the resort. Transfers to and from the resort and Da Nang airport are included but the prize does not include transfers to and from Gatwick airport.
9 The accompanying guest of the winner must be aged 18 or over at the date of the outbound flight to Da Nang.
10 The prize is subject to availability at the time of booking. It must be taken and completed by 31 August 2014. The following blackout dates apply, over or during which the prize cannot be taken: UK government school and public holidays; 13 to 27 April 2014. Flights must be booked through Bacall Associates Limited at least 30 days prior to departure, and both the outward and return flights must be booked at the same time. Flights cannot be changed once the booking has been made, and are non-transferable and non-refundable. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions.
11 The prize includes airline and hotel taxes but does not include costs of travel insurance, visas, vaccinations, other meals and drinks, ground transportation (except for the transfers stipulated above), other taxes, spending money or personal costs, all of which are the responsibility of the winner and his/her guest. GNM accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with taking the prize that are not expressly included in the prize.
12 The winner and his/her guest must ensure that they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance and any relevant vaccinations at the time of travel. GNM accepts no responsibility if the winner and/or guest are unable to travel due to insufficient documentation. The winner and his/her guest shall be responsible for complying with local laws, health or government requirements and for checking these prior to travel. The normal conditions of travel of Vietnam Airlines apply and can be found at https://www.vietnamairlines.com.
13 The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
14 GNM reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
Winner selection and notification
15 The winner will be selected by way of a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will take place between 7 and 14 February 2014.
16 The winner will be notified by phone or email on or before 14 February 2014 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to GNM within 28 days of being notified of their win, the winner's prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 28 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, the winner's prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner.
17 The name and county of the winner can be obtained after 14 March 2014 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Guardian Weekend Magazine, Guardian News & Media Limited, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9GU.
