Our local Aldi is selling the large pannetone for 49p to clear, great bargain, they were £6.49 at Christmas

..... and don't forget that the panettoni makes a brilliant bread and butter pudding. Just slice it up and use instead of the usual bread, currants and spice. Needs less butter too. Yummy!0

I thought this too at the Mansfield store where the SEL underneath stated 99p, but I then realized that that referred to the shelf below and that the true price was £1.99.
