Monkey Kingdom - Made in Chelsea - Fraud?

Hi all,
Seeking a bit of sage advice. About 3 years ago I did some extra work on Made in Chelsea, and thought nothing more of it. However, today myself and some friends who were also extras got called up by Monkey Kingdom, who apparently organise extras for MIC, saying that we were owed ~£55 for taking part (hadn't been processed by now due to a huge backlog). They had all the details about the work I did correct, down to the date and what happened in the episode I worked in.
The problem is that they wanted my DOB, address ("to send the cheque to") and my NI number ("to make sure I was eligible to work in the UK"). This screamed fraud to me - a quick google found the Monkey Kingdom website, which seems semi-legit but AVG blocked something called "Exploit Blackhat SEO" when I went on it.
They did want my details over the phone, but I said I wasn't comfortable with this so they sent me an email for me to reply to so that I had proof of correspondence with them.
So basically, is this a fraud trap so they can gather my personal details, or should I shut up and take the money?
Thanks in advance!

I got the same AVG warning, but if you look at this thread
http://www.comedy.co.uk/company/monkey_kingdom/
it seems to be a genuine company. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
While I am not familiar with the website in question or even AVG peculiarities usually that "Exploit Blackhat SEO" message has something to do with too many links of an unknown/suspicious nature, ie: too mank links built in too quick a time or linking to a server with an IP address that has got itself blacklisted. More often than not the sites themselves tend to be safe, and as you previously did work for them and they are aware of you I would say that information is safe to share
I would ask them on the phone to confirm any information that you know they have about you to be sure
Unfortunately as I am on a library computer until next week I cannot delve into the site to see what is going on..."Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck" - The Doctor.0
